I can't believe it but the entire bed of veggies that had been submerged by 4 inches of water is fine!!
I am so thankful. I think a setback like that might have put a big damper on the girls' gardening enthusiasm.
In other surprises, we adopted a little dog from the humane society.
I am not a fan of little dogs. We have an English lab and a black lab who I adore. But my six year old wanted a dog that she could walk and so ...here we are with this chihuahua/terrier mix. I can't believe that I own anything mixed with chihuahua. I must really love my girl!
